Proofreading is a very important part of translations. We offer proofreading of Slovak documents translated to English and English documents translated to Slovak. These services include linguistic, grammar and typographic proofreading. We provide different types of proofreading depending on your requirements and on the text given:
- Language proofreading - Proofreading of target texts (Grammar, spelling, stylistics); language proofreading is provided by professional proof-readers and, at the same time, native speakers of the language given. Should the text be in Slovak such proofreading is prepared by a Slovak native speaker.
- Meaning proofreading - Proofreading comparing the source and target language. This type of proofreading is prepared by certified translators having knowledge of the languages of original and translation, who compare the texts from the perspective of their meaning when translated to the target language.
- Content proofreading - Proofreading focused on the terminology of the text given. Content proofreading is mostly used for the texts of specific or technical orientation.
- Preprint proofreading - Proofreading of a text from its graphical perspective. Preprint proofreading comprises the correction of the mistakes potentially arising when arranging the text or when modifying its graphics. Its goal is to check the appearance of the text in a particular graphical environment and fine tune it in order to be able to incorporate its corrections in the final version of the document to be published or printed.
